Our commitment

Santana & Associates wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification or other assistive technology. We keep accessibility in mind when we design, write, build and test the site, in English and in Spanish.

Our goal

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities.

What we do

• Every page has a “Skip to content” link, a clear heading structure and the right language setting for English or Spanish.
• You can use the menus, forms and free tools with a keyboard, and the item you are on is clearly outlined.
• Images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and form fields have labels and plain error messages.
• Text and buttons are designed to meet the WCAG AA color contrast levels, and pages work when you zoom in or use a phone.
• Animations are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.

How we tested

On November 2, 2026, we tested the main pages of the site in English and Spanish (home, services, about, free tools, contact, the “Get started” questionnaire, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and a blog article) at desktop and phone sizes, with automated checks for WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA. The checks found no issues. Automated tools can’t catch every problem, so we review pages again when we change them, and we welcome your feedback.

Known limitations

Some pages and features are run by other companies, and we don’t control how accessible they are: our Client Portal (provided by ATOM), our online appointment booking, Google Maps and Google reviews, our social media pages, and IRS.gov and other government sites and PDF files we link to. The security check on our online forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) is also provided by another company. If any of these gives you trouble, call or email us and we will help another way, for example by taking your information over the phone.
